How do I know I can trust you?

I've been operating in Hong Kong since 1996. I'm a two-time Reader's Choice winner for Best Handyman and Best Renovation. I can provide references from other overseas owners. But honestly, the best proof is how I communicate - you'll know within the first conversation whether I'm someone you can rely on.

How do payments work for overseas clients?

I'm flexible. Bank transfer, PayPal, or through your Hong Kong agent. For larger projects, we typically do a deposit to start, progress payments, and final payment on completion with your sign-off. Everything is documented with photos before final payment.

What if there's an emergency at my property?

Message me on WhatsApp any time. For genuine emergencies (water leaks, etc.), I prioritize these calls and can usually visit same-day or next morning. I'll send photos immediately so you can see the situation and approve repairs before I proceed.

How do you handle time zone differences?

WhatsApp works perfectly for this. I respond to messages throughout the day (Hong Kong time), and you can check updates whenever it's convenient for you. For video calls to discuss larger projects, I'm happy to schedule around your time zone - I've done 6am calls for UK clients and late evening for US clients.

What if I'm not happy with the work?

This rarely happens because you see progress throughout and can raise concerns immediately. But if something isn't right at the end, I fix it. My reputation is built on word-of-mouth from overseas owners - I can't afford unhappy clients. References available on request.

Can you coordinate with my property agent or manager?

Absolutely. I work with most of the major agencies in Hong Kong. I can collect keys from them, coordinate access, provide them with completion reports, and attend inspections on your behalf. Whatever makes it easier for you.
